I was able to install V&H 2 into 1 exhaust on my Breakout yesterday afternoon.
The install was pretty straight forward with only a couple of minor issues.
First, there is a chrome piece that covers a nut that I had to remove to get proper clearance for the muffler.
If I had not, the muffler would rest against it preventing the pipes from lining up properly with the heads and exhaust gasket. It also would probably cause a vibration.
Not a big deal, the chrome cover is for look only.
Second, not really a issue. But it did take some time to make sure the pipes were properly seated into the heads/gaskets.
I'm not sure where the story about the exhaust pipes being too close to the oil lines came from.
I measure the distance from the exhaust pipe to the closest oil line on the stock exhaust, it was 1/4".
After installing the new exhaust the distance to the oil line is approx 1 1/2 ". So the new exhaust give more
clearance.
Also, no problem with clearance with the forward controls.
This exhaust is a little louder than I thought it would be. Not too loud just not what I expected.
Funny thing is, it doesn't sounds too loud when riding. Mostly just when sitting still, maybe it's because
of the way the sound is directed toward the ground.
So far I really like the looks and the sound. It really opens up the rear wheel.

I had already uploaded a improved tune from Dynojet using my Power Vision.
So using this same base tune I rode it some with the Power Vision in the Auto Tune mode.
I am getting some popping on deceleration, not a lot but some.
I am going to get a new map from Dyno Jet this week and see if it will improve the tune.
So far I do feel an improved seat of the pants performance.
The exhaust I installed was part # 28019 for a 2013 Soft Tail.
Hope this helps anyone considering installing this exhaust.
