My first C V O ever "04 Electra glide" Blue and Black

First of all let me tel you guys that I'm super Extatic and waiting for her to arrive in 5 days.

I jumped from a 03 anniversary sportster 1200 to a screamin eagle big twin, that a huge huge leap money wise and vehicle wise, even my wife said she loved it and she doesn't know scwuat about bikes.
 
Guys I need any and all the advice you can give me on my 04 Electra Glide CVO (Cobalt blue /w Black).

- from the famous death wobble to olis, sound system, maintenance, recalls, defects, breaks, must have accessories you name it ill read it.

She has 18,000 miles and a couple of little scratches (nothing a little polish can't fix).

Me and my family would appreciate your advice, I will read the every day and respond to your posts in order to learn more.

You've come to the right place....lots of info and reading on here......and you'll also get lotsa help spendin' bucks on your CVO!

The first order of business I'd take care of, as far as mods go, would be the suspension.....Monotubes in the front, true Track in the back, bushings and motor mounts as needed. That eliminated the 'death wobble' on my '08.

Welcome to the site!  SEEGs are sweet!  The first thing you need to do is go down to the SEEG section of the board and read all 80 pages of threads there.  That should keep you busy for awhile and help satisfy the hunger for information you have about your new bike.  After that, if you have specific questions, fire away.

The major issue on your bike was the premature wear of cam chain tensioners.  Do a site search and you'll find out all about the problem and cure...
