FLTRXSE, Would like to install speakers in fairing lowers
« on: February 20, 2013, 11:10:55 PM »

I would like to install CVO style speakers in the lower fairings, ( I see "jr1000yarder did it ), do our site experts have any advice? I installed the saddlebag lids, and amp, last fall, and was hoping I could wire in to existing speakers, not looking to add a third amp. Thanks for any help/advice.

Do you change the amp for the front fairing speakers?  If so run your lowers off that one and keep your rear amp for the rear speakers

I would definately take you up on your offer, I ride into PA a lot, just want to wait till the salt is off the road. Oh, I almost forgot, if you think it can be done ( on a Road Glide ) I have to order the parts. Last fall I installed the saddlebag speaker kit with amp (part #7600275) came with saddlebag amp, I did not touch the front speaker amp, so I am not sure how you add two more speakers.

Easy enough. Call Pete @ soundz and have him send you an amp to replace the HD one and we can do it. Takes longer to remove the fairing then to install the amp and new speakers if you want new ones. Well not quite but I doesn't take long.

Tell him you want to add lowers and he will supply all the wires too. Plug and play!

Awesome set up.

Is there a website for Soundz? I'm considering adding lower fairing speakers to my 2013 SEUC and am wondering what all is involved with the process.
