Biker Movie, Dead in 5 Heartbeats
« on: February 25, 2013, 11:58:21 AM »

If i missed a post on this i appologize.

As a young man my buddys mom would take us to the local Drive In to see all the new releases of "Biker" movies. I have fond memories of that and today when i watch those movies i have to chuckle at how hard hollywood tried to make us bikers something of the publics view of what we are. Well, a mix of fact and fiction is about to be released and i for one am ready for another "Biker" movie.

Looking at some of the trailers in that link you provided.....brought back some memories.  About 12-15 years ago I was also an extra in a movie.  Played a biker in a biker bar......imagine that.  Even had the fight scenes, cue sticks getting broke over the head and all.  On the set for 12 and 15 hour days for eight or ten days, along with two of my bikes.  It came out at the theater and I'm in three or four scenes for just a few seconds each.  Hollywood!  :huepfenlol2:

Looking at the trailers....the one for Day 6....towards the tail end of it I see a 2010 SESG parked out there.

Many of the members in the fictitious motorcycle club, the Infadelz, are members of the Hells Angels in real life.  Thought it was interesting to see the patch colors are red & white and that they have a Calif. bottom rocker.

Reminds me a little of "As the World Turns" or "Days of Our Lives"

Based on Sonny Barger's novel.  Say no more.  Could be interesting watching.
