I posted pictures of a 30 car pile up in Michigan during a white-out

Last month I posted a picture of a 30 car pile up during a snow squal in Michigan.  This person was driving a 2012 BMW 528xi and she was sandwiched between 2 semi trucks, one carring a load of Lexus cars.  Air bags went off, otherwise she said the interior cabin was in tact with the exception of the broken glass.  Not a single drip of fuel or any other sort of leak, car did what a well built machines supposed to do when you can't possibly avoid an accident.  Tropper said the car saved her life  Amazing!

THIS WAS THE DRIVER...........NOT REALLY......Opps, that one slipped in.....maybe this has something to do with their undefeated record in regulation time!

Well this sucks! I guess I have to admit I am getting old because I actually let my eyes stray long  :-\enough to notice she is holding a shovel handle instead of a Hockey Stick.  :-[

At least you noticed that ... I couldn't see her holding anything to be honest.

I'm guessing it wasn't just the design of the car that saved her, she was lucky period ... if the impact was much harder I don't think she would've lived to tell about it no matter what she was driving.
