I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2013 Anniversary Edition CVO Ultra Classic.  Toss up between the anniversary edition and the maroon Ultra. What do you guys think about the color, blackout engine parts, etc?  Elegant, classy....or boring?  I'm going back Tuesday for a better look.

Ultimately it goes to what you like.  You will know when someone says maroon and you wish that they said the Anni. Or the other way around. The beauty is always in the eye of the owner.

One factor that you want to take out of the equation is the value of the Anniversary over the Maroon, while they may be fewer in production, down the road that won't come to hold a higher value or better investment.

Also, watch the dealer price on the CVOs and anniversary bikes for extra $$$.

The choice is yours and it will be awesome!

I'm in the same boat and undecided between the Tribal Orange and Anniversary. I've put down a deposit on both.

I had the same issue, when the dealer told me, back in September, he was not getting any ANN ones.  I told him that I would hold off till he got the second list of bikes that he was getting to make my dession.  Lucky for me I waited vice taking one of the CVO's he was having trouble selling from the first batch.  He did get one and I got it.  Now I have to wait for June for the bike to get to me.

The waiting is killing me though.  Luckly there is snow on the ground, so it is not to bad I guess.

All the colors look pretty good this year.

In California, we GET the privledge of paying an additional $200 for California emissions and can't register non-cal bikes as new.....but at least it's sunny today!  Agree, I won't pay over MSRP and several dealers are charging $3-5 k over sticker for CVO's.  Fortunately, there are also dealers selling at or below msrp.  Even the Anniv bike is under MSRP.  Thanks for your input.

X2 I agree with E-Skunk. IMO this years Anniversary Colors are way better than the colors of past years, they are nice but i like a little flash and color and bling. Between those two colors I like the Maroon, but to be honest I don't think you have seen the color that really pulls your trigger or you would not be asking this question. When you see it...you will know!

I have to say, we have had all colors in our dealership and they all look good but the silver one followed me home. You won't go wrong with what ever color you choose!

Hopefully go visit on a sunny day and have them pulled out into the sunlight. Then you will know which one does it!

I bought the maroon. It's awesome out in the sunlight! Unfortunately I found fingerprints under the clearcoat, so look at it really good BEFORE you buy it. I'm still waiting to get mine back. Good luck with whichever one you choose!
