Well we just got back from the Hot Springs Rally in beautiful Hot Springs Arkansas where I saw lots of scoots

We searched high and low for twolane and found some great eaten places but no twolane.
(No SPIDERMAN it NOT the Big Red Drive In)   But a great name

Friday night I even got the wife to help join the hunt for twolane at the Three Dog Night concert.    (But still no twolane)

We found a lot of great people and sad to say a few

But out of all this the only things that stand out is a pair of SERK

But out from nowhere comes The Red Bike with a smiling face on it

We stayed up and partied all night as you can see how it affected my camera skills. Finally stating to catch up a bit from being gone over the long weekend.  It's true on Thurday evening Bubba had a hard time finding me.  The band playing was Kentucky Headhunters but Twolane had pulled an all nighter the night before riding down so he could have the long weekend off.  And by the time Thursday evening was ready to start I was ready to die.  Pretty sure I was asleep by 8:30 that night.

Got to ride with Bubba and his posse and his Mrs for awhile on Saturday though.  Had to head home a bit earlier than expected on Saturday afternoon rather than Sunday day as an elderly parent too a header off her deck.  Fortunately just a little bent but not broken though.  A side benefit was coming home on Saturday afternoon allowed me to miss what would have been some pretty nasty storms on Sunday I'd probably been right in the middle of.  So I guess I'm not complaining.

A word of warning to all the Maggie Valley participant who might be sharing restaurant space with Mrs. Bubba.  This little lady can apparently eat.  I watched her Hoover a 16" pizza during a fuel stop during a Poker Run and two card stops later she said she was hungry again.  I saw her casting a hungry eye in the direction of red bike so just to be safe got on it and rode away.  Was definitely worried though.

On the trip down to Hot Springs on Thursday I did make one little stop that seemed worth a picture.  Got a soft serve ice cream cone on a hot afternoon right here:

Then running around during the day on Friday ran by a place I'd been by in years past but never stopped for the picture.  One of those places that make you wonder, "just where did they get that name anyway?".
