After much research and riding several different combinations, I have ordered the SE Stage III kit, 10.5 to 1, 259 cams, SERT, for the '09 SERG to go along with the V&H PowerDuals, RSD mufflers & K&N already on the bike. All things considered, I feel that this setup will work for me.
I am asking for input from those that have experience with the SE kit???
The bike has ~10k mi, uses little to no oil, should I be looking to go oversize pistons-or new jugs?
What are the pros and cons? (I know I will lose a little tq off the low end, that is totally acceptable to me)
What #s should I be looking for ?
If you have one of these kits? how many miles do you have on it?
How suited is the SE kit for touring
What are the real world benefits (if any) of headwork with this setup? Who/what setup do you recommend?
What are the real world benefits (if any) of throttle body/work with this setup? What do you recommend for TB?
