The fact that people are taking pictures with flashes, of "glow in the dark" paint is hilarious.  :orange:
"it looked better in person, I swear!"

I gotta say....that's the coolest thing I've seen in a while for a motorcycle.  Would be interesting in seeing how the paint holds up over time/use/sunlight but wow

Toward the end of the video, it shows the "normal" look up close then with it lit....that's something else right there.... :2vrolijk_21:

That's cool. If I paint my truck with it and could activate it with the fob then I could find it in the parking lot.

I saw a custom bike at a show in Atlanta last year that had miniature LEDs imbedded in the paint that lit up the graphics on the bike at night. Looked pretty awesome but cost a small fortune.

Just a guess (which I hate to do) but this is probably illegal to run on the street.

 ;D :o ::) :zroflmao: :Vrolijk_8:   Now THAT'S funny right there....... :2vrolijk_21:

I would say most of the mods we have done to our bikes aren't legal on the street....?

That reply made me smile, Don....thanks for the laugh this afternoon.

Sad thing is, you are probably right... :nixweiss:

We do lots of mods that fall outside of emissions control (or other) guidelines.  Those might bite us in the ass in varoius ways off the street.  Here I was thinking it was something that might or even likely would bite an owner in the ass just by riding it down Main Street.

Most states and many local jurisdictions have rules against flashing LEDs or other lights on street vehicles.  Especially lights that are colors flashed by law enformcement or other safety vehicles.  So for reasons of distraction on the street or because they deemed to in some way infringe on a perception they might be LE bikes could easily see some (otherwise cool) flashing paint quickly earning someone a ticket and getting parked to the curb.

I agree that it could be an invitiation for attention by more than just adoring fans.

That said, how about red saddlebags, or tour pak, or fender, or all three?  Imagine if it lit up for brakes lights, or flashed for turn signals?  I'm wondering how much more visible one could be at night?

Maybe some amber lowers on the old ultra?

I'm pretty curious how this plays out.

This could catch on.  Imagine seeing Airplanes flying overhead, glowing in the dark.  Amazing stuff.  So far, all I've seen is the light blue color.  It will be interesting to see if it will glow in other colors too.  Pretty cool!

Actually my first thought for real success was something like billboards or other signage.  Thinks that are stripped and changed regularly anyway.  If cool effects could be had and the lighting power requirements weren't untenable that might be an interesting market.  Blimps and other aircraft probably need signage that needed to be changed more quickly and without a total strip and repaint.  Fun to think what someone like Richard Branson or Google might do on an aircraft of their own though.

Ok, now brain is going a bit sideways.  Can just imagine what surprisded response by other pilots might be to NOTAMs warning of glow in the dark blinking wide bodies in their airspace....  :huepfenlol2:
