GstreetSlide,
My wife and I recently put a 120R into our 2010 CVO Ultra. We had to do something after a lifter failed in our stock 110 at 25,000 miles. Shortly after we got ours done, a couple of friends put 124T's from Star Racing in their Ultras. We looked at the S&S website before going with the 120R, but didn't see a 124 that fit our bike, and didn't know about the Star Racing S&S engines at the time.
During our install we put in forged rocker supports, roller rockers, a T-Man cam, changed to S&S lifters, and used SE tapered adjustable pushrods. As mentioned earlier in this thread we also upgraded the clutch, throttle body, injectors, and also the oil cooler.
Looking back, I think we would have gone with the 124T if we had known about it at the time. For about the same money (maybe less?) we would have started out with a strong crank, S&S lifters, and roller rockers... The Star Racing motors also have a 1 year warranty.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
