How long did it take to get the heat shield? They ordered mine last Wed and its going to the shop that did my work then they will mail to me.

They shipped mine on a Friday and I received it the next Wednesday or Thursday. so about 4 or 5 business days. they said they had to have one chromed and it would ship on Monday but it actually shipped the Friday before.

Cool. I'm not really expecting to get mine until the end of this week or beginning of next.

Sweet! Like the led turn signals too. Been thinking about switching that. Probably a daymaker too. However, I used my brights on the interstate last night and they are pretty damn bright.

No Daymaker yet, almost never ride at night. Too many deer, bugs. I'll ride from sun up to sun down but rarely at night. I drive about 50K miles a year for work and a lot of that is in the dark so I get my fill of driving a cage at night. like to see the sun and enjoy the daytime on the bike.

Does this means that the bungs are on the same place as the original 18 mm ones ?? My dealer tells me that I have to put the O2 sensors at the same spot as they have been placed on the standard exhaust, he tells me that the 18 mm Bungs are placed too close to the exhaust valves and will get to hot and fail within a few weeks.

Hasn't been a problem for me. I've put almost 500 miles on my bike since last Thursday when I picked it up from having pipes installed.

I've had my Bassani pipes for a few weeks now and love them.

On my set, the back mounting location is the same but the front O2 is a couple inches higher than OEM. I had to reroute the wire to get it to reach. I think the OEM tune is entirely to lean. When I pulled of the OEM exhaust to install my Bassani setup, I was shocked on how blue they had gotten with only a few hundred miles (475). It was already running pretty lean so I purchased a Power Vision (PV) with the auto tune pro setup. I had my ride dyno'd after installing the Bassani  just to see how the AFR looked and it was indeed very lean. After tuning with the PV, it seems to run a lot stronger but the engine temp is definitely cooler. I'll confirm any power gains when it rolls back onto the dyno. I've attached a couple of pics of the OEM blue pipe and the mounting location of the O2 on the Bassani. The OEM one mounted at about the same height as that bracket on the frame.

O2 location on the Bassani. For reference, the OEM mounting location is at about the same height as the chrome cable retainer on the frame.

Love the power, love the sound. The heat shield on the collector not so much.
