Would have elaborated on this a little more, but had to jump in the truck and haul ass to Deadwood, SD last night to drink gamble and chase impure women. It was pretty much an oversight on their part. Thought they had one in stock and didn't. Small shop but they do awesome work. Have people come from all surrounding states (CO, MT, UT, ID, ND, SD, NE) and have them do work. Mostly older bikes. Wasn't really a big deal since they have to get the replacement heat shield from Bassani and get it installed.  http://www.strokersusa.com

Ah Deadwood.  Cool place.  I mentioned in a much earlier thread that I love heading out to SD and WY to ride.  Crossing the peaks of the Big Horn mountains, and dropping down into Lovell is a fantastic(and steep) ride...gotta watch out for those sheep herders moving their sheep across the road though!

I deal with a lot of the sheep ranchers. Land here isn't really good for anything else. A little cattle, then oil/gas, coal, uranium and wind farms. Since I took my own topic out in left field I'll bring it back.

I did get to listen to the Bassani RR 2>1 without a tuner and dyno. Sounded better than stock pipes but was running really lean and you could hear it when the engine was revved up and then let go back down.  Pipes look good and should sound great.  Get this paid off and figure out what other little mods I'm going to do next.

Also, same issue with heat shield. Guy installing is going to call Bassani and get them to send the right piece and get everything taken care of.

Let me know how your new heat shield fits. got my today and installed it, fits okay but has about a 3/8" gap between it and the muffler in the center of the shield. looks okay but not a real clean fit. Once more mfg's make pipes for the breakout I may go with something else in a year or so. for now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can ride and auto tune.

I'm supposed to pick my bike up Thursday dynotuned and ready to go. Interested to see how heatshield fits myself. Pics to follow.

Talked to shop this morning. Should have SERT installed and Dynotuned this afternoon. Will pick up tomorrow, probably sneak out of work and go get it.  Bassani is fabbing and chroming a new heat shield and sending out. Should have that next week.

Very pleased with the bassani RR 2-1. Still waiting on replacement heat shield but should be here in a few days. Used the SERT. Pipes have a deep throaty sound. Yes I said deep throaty. Pics and video to follow in a few.
