Yep, liners are just one of the extras that come with the Ultra.  Gotta get something for that premium price.... :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for the heads up, I will check my amp on Da King today.  We just got back Sunday from a 2543 mile trip to Daytona, Fort Myers and Key West.

No problem, Dave.  Hope you had a great trip and had NO amp moving issues.

Trip was great, weather was pretty good except 1/2 hour of sprinkles right before we pulled into Fort Myers.

Then Sunday we left Lake City in the Wind and Rains, had down pours in both Valdosta and Tifton that brought traffic down to 35 mph on the interstate.  Then rain and wind to Atalanta but at least you could motor at 75 mph.  Then mist or no rain the rest of the way from Atlanta, just cold and wind.

Da King never missed a beat.  Just under 6K miles on the bike, and 3400 since the motor build.

How about moco, and you didn't say what kind on replacement time your going to be looking at

Hey Pete.  Most painted parts have a 6-8 week waiting period.  May be lucky and get one sooner but not counting any chickens just yet.  I'm expecting at least 8 weeks.  Got the hole covered with tape which held up pretty good with the ride home in the rain Sunday.  They won't have to keep Ginger at the dealership so I can still ride some until the bag comes in.

Mine is just a very little loose.  The amp will wiggle just a little, but not much.  I am going to have them check it Wednesday morning as I am having my 5K service done, with 6K on the bike.

Howard.
Haird, I had an issue with the front bat wing.  The paint was peeling behind the chrome strip for windshield attachment.  They ordered a new
one and said 6 to 8 weeks.  Received a call in 10 days that it was in.  Was ok either way since it did not stop me from riding.  Hopefully you will
get Lucky on yours as well.  Ride Safe my Brotha  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Greg. Yep, if it takes 8 weeks, I'm prepared. If its here sooner, more the better.

Just got back from the dealer (Smoky Mountain HD) and Harley will be replacing the saddlebag under warranty. Looks like a 8 to 12 week lead time. Moco said this was the first one that had done this. I find that hard to believe but they are replacimg the bag.

What did the lose amp do to the saddlebag???

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.

Update.....can't believe it but got a call at lunch that my saddlebag is in and ready for installation.  Will get it installed first thing Saturday morning.  That's not a bad turn around from March 28th when they ordered the bag to April 4th and it's in.  Beats the 8-12 weeks normally required for painted parts.  This issue is soon to be put to bed, thankfully.
