Thought I'd get a ride in but.....

Its supposed to snow in Chicago AGAIN!  1-3"......which means salt trucks and more time sitting!

AND...its supposed to be 50 next saturday...but with no rain to clean the streets!

Thankfully no snow down here in the south... But it rained all night long, and the forecast is for two more days of the wet stuff... So the Honey Badger will stay in the garage this weekend.

Got a good day's riding in here on the Island. Looked good at 9am so I go and get a 1 day permit...on the way home in the Jeep, it starts to rain...turns to snow...then hail.
One coffee at home and the sky blued up again....and I rode to Victoria with perfect conditions!

We manage the Demo Rides for  Harley Davidson of Charlotte and yesterday we only got 6 rides in because of the rain.
Today was a waste. Rain all day!
Come on dry weather, we need it.
It hard sitting around the shop waiting for the rain to end.

Hope to get out next weekend after the roads get a little cleaner. It's been about 48 hours since a snowflake sighting so we're optimistic. The temps are forecast to get into the 50's by the end of the week and maybe the state will STOP treating the roads with that liquid deicer stuff long enough for the roads to clear up and look like blacktop again - not some grayish impersonation -

I hate groundhogs....whatever happened to global WARMING  :nixweiss:
