So after seeing the temp in my car saying 42 degrees, I decided what the hell, lets break out the Breakout!  I've had it in the garage all winter and sitting on a Battery Tender.....all I've done was really stare at it.  So I sat on it and it fired right up.....man is the exhaust not WEAK!  So I let it run for 203 minutes and I was off.  I have to say....this thing feels really fast....much faster then my FLHX and Deluxe.  People totally stare at this thing....probably because of the paint....but also because it was cold! I could only handle about 10 miles before I was ready to tap out....it was just to cold!  I did go over some bumps in the road and this thing handles them better the my Street Glide!  So I have to say it runs and rides as good as it looks.....next up, some sort of exhaust!!!!

Their heated clothing is recognized everything as possibly the best in the world.  A little pricey, but you only buy it once, and their unique heating matrix makes all the difference.  I have their jacket, gloves, and pants.  It all hooks together and connects via a single cable to your battery.

I rode about 200 miles today in 42 degrees with sunshine, with a full face helmet and never once felt cold.  When we have cold weather 5 months out of the year in these parts, I have to be able to get out on the bike....I start getting the shakes real bad otherwise!

Can't really comment on my pipes until tuner is installed, dynotune is complete and I am on the road. Most likely Thur afternoon through Mon morning. I will say I like the look of the pipes I went with and they sounded much better than stock pipes without tuner but you could hear that it was running lean.

I put on some slip on Rush pipes with 2" baffles and couldn't be happier.  I used a tune from Dynojet with the PV-2 and no popping, and seems to run great.  It appears I am having a problem with my fuel gauge, went about 50 miles and the guage didn't move from full (will run it some more once the roads are clear of salt).  But a cheap solution to the crappy stock mufflers are some slip ons.  I actually bought mine used for $100.

I may go the slip on route for this year and see what comes out from every manufacturer.

where'd you find your used slip-ons?  Been keeping an eye out for some but haven't found any yet.

Hey nicky. Im glad you like the bike. Im having the same problem with mine. Well not the being able to ride it part because I live in a normal part of Americar where it isnt 20 below for 5 months out of the year and people dont think obama is god. Kidding aside, I have 600 miles on mine already but my problem is that Im used to a Yamaha Warrior so my Breakout feels slow. I like the bike and it looks great but the pipes do suck and I've got to do something to speed it up. I odered the V&H 2into2s but they arent here yet and then Ill do the HD race tuner. If that doesnt speed it up Ill do cams and head work. I actually own a house that I rent out to a guy who has a Harley mechanic shop in it so I can get it done on the cheap.
BTW, this group seems a lot nicer than the other one where the guy was telling you that you werent a biker and never would be. Im so sorry that people like you and I cant be part of his club,  LOL.   You can email me direct if you want. zr11990@sbcglobal.net.
