After reading the insightful comments from this sight, I purchased the Garmin 2820 and utilized it during our ride to Sturgis. I had downloaded the waypoints for all of the Harley-Davidison dealers, got from this site, and received a tone alarm every time I got within a mile or so of a HD dealer. I also had downloaded hours worth of MP3s and would listen to the MP3s whenever I needed to utilize the voice directions. The only downside to the GPS is when you constantly are designated the lead rider and you inadvertinately make a wrong turn. [smiley=oops.gif] The hotel, restaurant, etc. listings are invaluable when you do not preplan stops during your trip. We found it much easier to reserve rooms by phone prior to arriving instead of pulling up with a bunch of bikes.
