CUSE8 Transformation...
« on: March 26, 2013, 01:54:08 AM »

Hi Team - picked up my Typhoon Cuse8 a few weeks ago and have begun her transformation...

SE Intake, SERT, D&D straight cut Fat Cat with "quiet" louvered baffle (not so quiet  :2vrolijk_21:), mirrors from 2003 Road Glide CVO, WindVest windshield, simple Spears on saddle bag lids, Flames theme covers, George Anderson tour pak relocation, premium hinges and latches on tour pak, HogPro 18" front and back, removed amp and amp bracket in anticipation of tour pak detach kit...

SAE Corrected Dyno Tune Results after performance mods (kept stock 255 cams); 97 HP & 115 TQ - tuned at local HD shop where I bought the bike (runs great, sounds awesome but only 250 kms on bike so far).

Next week - Ricor shocks, Race Tech springs and Ricor Intimidators for the forks.

A couple of photos below (ok, only 1 photo - not sure how to post multiple photos)

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate the support - this forum is awesome. I will continue to post updates as they happen. Our weather has taken a turn for the better (finally!) and looking forward to some riding this weekend and using the jack to changes the fluids to Redline in the Primary and Transmission, Mobil 1 V-Twin Syn in the motor. :drink:

Hope you are all able get out for a spin too.

I'm curious about the intake, I was told it wouldn't fit behind the lower glove box.

Hello RoadRunnr - they offer two versions, this is the slightly shorter version for bikes with lowers. Works just as well and provides more leg room than even the stock oval shaped intake, from my experience.

CVO-B, that is the coolest Cuse7 that I have seen. My "old man electraglide" will be much tamer for sure (for now). Here is my 08 FLTR...

Thank you Cultus, Back at you. The convertability to have two bikes in one makes it worth it. Takes me about 15 minutes to clip Tourpak , front air wings and longer sheild and Im back to Ultra
