Is anyone using the SENa SPH10-10 Wireless Headset for Full  or 3/4 Helmet? OR The Sena SHP10H Wireless BlueTooth headset for the HD Hybrif 1/2 Helmet.

How does it work out for you?
Are you happy with it?

I am Buying the Garmin Zumo 660 GPS Navigator and the HD Chrom Handlebar Mount for the Zumo 660 today.
The Dealer doesn't have the SENA Wireless BlueToon 3.0 SPH10-10 or SPH10H in stock and will have to order it.

So i figured I would ask about the wireless headsets, since I can order one for less that HD, even with 20% off.

Has anyone used the Sena headsets to communicate between Rides? The Add claims it will work with up to 4 Bikes with Max Range of 980 yds (0.55. Miles, "With Clear Line of Sight".

Thanks

I just grabbed a SMH-10R for my full face helmet and it works great.  I'm actually considering getting one for my 1/2 helmet too.  It had good range with my buddy's SMH-10 and quickly synced with my phone and GPS.  I have Fullsac pipes and when I was talking to my wife she couldn't even tell I was on the bike so the noise cancelling microphone works great.  The volume works well and my only complaint is that I would like a little more bass when listening to music.  The other nice thing is the SMH-10R has a separate battery so I purchased a second one.  That way I don't have to worry about running out of juice on a long trip.

I use the Sena SMH10 system in my 3/4 helmet. It works great, much better than the Scala system. Rider to pillion is good (wife also has a 3/4 helmet). I use it with a Zumo / Garmin 660. If riding with wife she connects an MP3 player to her unit. It also works well with a mobile. The controls are easy, no fiddling around with little buttons. It has good battery life, easily lasting a full day with Garmin, music and intercom. Although I've never tested it, according to the manual the intercom feature will work with up to 4 headsets, though the connection process did look a little complicated. The volume and clarity are excellent. I use it on my screenless Softail convertible with a V&H Pro Pipe. I would certainly recommend it.

The rider unit connects with Garmin 660, Pillion headset and mobile. The pillion unit connects to rider and independent MP3 player.

Thanks msemersky & cliffy.
I am going to go ahead and order the SENA SPH10H 1/2 Helmet BlueTooth Headset today.

Nice to know the SPH10 works good as well. Probably as the Fall Winds start blowing, I will buy that Headset for my 3/4 Hybrid.

I have a beanie and have no problems when I use it.  I thought maybe the wind would be a factor.
Takes a little twisting of the mic, but once the happy spot is found, it works great.

Make sure they send you the latest model that has the small USB port so you can update it. I bought a set in 2011 and didn't find out until late 2012 that they sent me an older model that you can't update the firmware. My review is rather negative and connectivity sporadic. Maybe the new ones are better but I would gladly return mine.

Many Thanks
That must explain the SENA SPH10H-01 that I have seen in a few ads.

So that I'm understanding this...the SENA units will connect via bluetooth to the Harley GPS......

Correct. Both the Zumo 660 GPS Navigator and the Zumo 665 GPS

My SENA10H-01 Arrived today.

Following the SEAN Manual, it was pretty quick and effortless to connect th headset BlueTooth to my CellPhone and Garmin GPS and MP3 Player.
As somewone has already mentioned, NOT the Best Music Sound Quality, but it works well enough for me.

Question, once my cellPhone and Zumo 660 have recognized and connected with the SENA SPH10H-01, is that it?
When I power off the Zumo 660 and the SPH10H and then power On again, will the BlueTooth connection return automatically?

Question for anyone with the HD Zumo 660 Handlebar Mount Hard Wiring?
What did you do with the USB an Aduio Jacks? I will most likely never use them, since I have the SENA BlueTooth headset.
Thinking maybe just wrap them up tightly with Electrical tape. Tempeted to just cut them off, but one never knows about Murphy's Law.
Wish Garmin had made them seperate cables.

Thanks
