JUST DYNOed my CVO 104.2hp 124.91torque
« on: March 30, 2013, 10:58:04 PM »

Put duals, street cannons and a se tuner on my 2012 SKUNK. DYNOed out at 104/124.91. Dealer said that was pretty good but I would like this forums opinion. Looking forward to hearing your comments

Had to modify, I posted wrong numbers first

Trying to figure how to post picture of dyno report using my iPad but not having any luck

It certainly doesnt get any better then that. Some might say with what you have listed as mods that those numbers are unattainable... Good for you, enjoy!!

If I can figure out how to post my dyno report I'll do so.
He did blow a little smoke, I pulled the report out of my tour pack it is 104.20. Torque is 124.91

Any help on taking my paper report and getting it up for the forum will be appreciated

SAE or Standard?  What smoothing?

I sure know a lot of 110 motors with cams, pistons and so on not making that torque.

Which the dyno sheet was bigger so it could be read.

SAE or Standard smoothing and level is in the top right hand corner.  These number seem high for these mods, but depending on the settings on the dyno the tech can play majic tricks.  It's needs to be consistent to be comparable.

Those file sizes are much too small to be viewed at a size where anyone can see.  You need to scan the chart with a flatbed scanner, take a photo with a better camera, or get the file e-mailed to you.  The SAE number should be in the upper right portion of the chart and it should show a number of 5.

Even if it's standard and not SAE, I'd say the tuner has a happy dyno or you have an exceptional engine...really exceptional.  I don't remember ever seeing a stock bike with an exhaust change making those kinds of numbers, but I guess there's always a first time for everything.

Thanks guys,
I'm not trying to upstage anyone, I just don't understand this part of the business and I wanted to have someone to respond with knowledge about dyno report. I will try again with a different camera or email the pics to you outside the forum

What would be a realistic hp/torque for my scooter

If the engine is in fact stock as reported and the only change is the exhaust and tune, there is no doubt in my mind that the dyno is beyond happy and into the ecstatic range.  There are a multitude of ways a dyno operator can play games with the numbers btw.  If you really want to know, find a different dyno and operator.  If you're happy with the way the bike runs and don't care about the numbers, feel free to just ride the bike and hang the chart on the wall in your garage to impress friends who don't know any better.

Based on numbers reported by a large cross section of CVO riders on this site, I'd say you would be more likely to see real torque numbers from a legit dyno around 105-115.  Numbers in the mid to upper 120's require a lot more than just a pipe.
