Don't they add in there somewhere that those are "approximate" numbers? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] I know the MoCo always does when ever they say anything about production numbers.

That's what I thought and what I would bet that means is they will stop making them "approximately" when people stop buying them.

Did you notice that theres a increase in aprox numbers of touring bikes but a drop for softail and vrods.Id say same for dyna too.Regarding the number of members with tourers here id say theres a growing demand for cvo touring bikes.Actually that makes sense since larger displacement is certainly needed for baggers.But these numbers are still too small for the entire production wich would be 400 thousand units or so per year.I hope they dont go beyond that.Theres also the issue of single year run for each bike.Its not like thy gonna make 4000 copies of the same bike each year wich makes them even rarer.My gut feeling tells me that they cant sell as much bikes as they forsee anyways.I dont think 1200 of each color for fatboys were produced and sold last year.Probably same for other models too.Or maybe I am too optimist. Thanks for posting. I somehow missed it in magazine.  A agree with Altugo that it is indeed very interesting to see the dynamics of CVO production y-on-y.  However, in our market we get approximately equal share of CVOs in each model.

Sorry for the old thread guys....But I'm a new owner of an 07' SERK and I've been digging around to see how many are out there like mine.   

So.... There were 3,500 07' SERKs built. Does any one know how that # is divided between the different colors?

-Razor Red with burnt Gold Leafing
-Black ice with Pewter Leafing
-Candy Cobalt with burnt Gold Leafing

So.... There were 3,500 07' SERKs built. Does any one know how that # is divided between the different colors?

For good measure, I wrote a letter to Harley asking for the actual #'s. I got a e-mail response today! I hope they send an actual snail-mail one too. Be cool to have the Harley letterhead to put with the rest of my paperwork.

"There were approximately 3,343 FLHRSE3 Screamin' Eagle Road King models manufactured for the 2007 model year. Approximately 2,395 were built as "49-state" models and 242 were built to meet the emission standards of the state of California. Per your VIN, there were approximately 823 models in your color combination of Candy Cobalt. Unfortunately, sequential production numbers are not available."

Pretty cool. Bummer they were numbered though!
