I have. In my case the stand was for the proper year bike, but not the CVO model. The tire diameter differs from stock model, leaving too much weight on the tire when raised onto the center stand. In fact, I have it off right now to add some thickness to the foot pads.

That's the secret right there, you have to have the weight resting on the center stand, not the rear tire.  It's the main reason I recommend one of the adjustable stands versus the nonadjustable EZ-Up; while leaving the tire on the ground makes it very easy to deploy and ride off, it isn't anywhere near as stable.

If you have the stand adjusted so the rear tire is slightly off the ground, you would have to work at it to tip the bike over.  Take a look at yours and see if you need to have pads added to the feet, or contact the EZ-Up folks.  You may have the wrong model for your particular bike.

I put mine on this weekend.  I found it very stable.  I did try and do the ride-off thing and the back tire just spun and left a mark.  I had to push it forward to get it off the stand.

The challenge for me was figuring the best way to get it on the stand.  Also, I noticed that it digs little chunks of asphalt on the driveway.

I don't see any reason to even put one on mine .... anytime I clean or work on mine I throw it on the jack and no worries, plus that way both wheels are off the ground.

" I did try and do the ride-off thing and the back tire just spun and left a mark.  I had to push it forward to get it off the stand."

Same problems I have had.  If my wife gets on board,  our weight together will allow me to ride off,  by myself,  we just do a burnout.  I'm about to take mine off as I can no longer use my jack to raise the whole bike up as the center stand is in the way,  also,  it will scrape on those damn "speed bumps" you encounter in some parking lots and some roads.

I've got an EZ up and I love it.  Never had any stability issues with it, but I only use it on level concrete.  EZ up makes 3 different stands for 3 different bike configurations, 12" shocks, 13" shocks, and 12" shocks with 18" wheels.  You have the right one for your CVO?

Not sure who you are asking but, I called to make sure they sent the correct one.  When the bike is on the stand it is rock solid and would take a serious push to tip it on its side.

I believe I have the correct one on.........Stock CVO.  I don't ride that aggressivelyl,  but have had it scrap in hard turns plus those damn speed bumps many times.   I only weigh around 165 pounds,  not enough to weigh down the back end to where I can ride off.   Everytime a "burnout" and no go..........gotta "rock it" to move or have my 125 pound wife on the back to get 'er done. :nervous:

IDK if increasing air pressure in the shocks would make any difference for you. Unfortunately if you're comfortable with whats in it, it would be harsher, but if its sitting a little taller it may not need to be rocked off. I've only had a few occasions where that happened and it was because of uneven parking areas. :nixweiss:

bklnserg, Most of you guys don't have to worry about this, but in So Cal we get earthquakes on occasion. I didn't have a Harley in the 94 earthquake, but I did have a couple of Japanese bikes. The one on the side stand stayed up, the one on the center stand fell over. Same thing in 1971 that was a pretty good one and the epicenter was only about 11 miles from my house. Had a Yamaha 350 in the garage facing west the house shook back and forth from east to west. I ran out to the garage first to check the water heater and pick up my bike but  it did not fall. So as far as stability goes based on these two experiences I would not leave my bike on a center stand.  Just something to think about. One more thing I moved my gas water heater to the outside of the house in a metal container made for water heaters. Don't have to worry about a fire now if any fuel gets spilled. CAHDBIKER

I was directing it to the OP who mentioned stability issues, and the only reason I asked is because when I ordered mine initially I ordered the wrong one and had similar problems with it walking.
