Even at 10 extra HP, that's over a 10% increase. And, it's also an increasing Tq..It's also important to note where the HP and TQ are and how long they carry. After grenadine my engine and getting it rebuilt and switching from a HD 251 to a Fuel 574 and from a PC3 to a Master tuner I went from 107/111 to 115/117 and I could tell a difference. Maybe not in power, but in the powerband and where it hit. Not that it was better, just different. If you know your bike, you can feel the changes. It's easy to feel the change from an HD 255, it hits hard, but dives dives way to quick. Also, you feel the power increase under load. More weight, or towing or climbing in altitude etc.  Many things to consider

My $.02 says, if you don't twist the throttle hard, you probably won't notice it, but the way I ride (HARD) I DID notice it, and very much worth the $

Been riding for 53 years. Been on most of them. You will not notice 10/20hp on a cvo! Alot of money for not much gain! Good tour bic. as is!
Well I have two CVO's a 2012 and a 2013.

The 12 is a road glide with fuel moto head pipe (no cat) and fuel moto Jackpot pro tour mufflers, TTS tuner and a dyno tune done.  114 peak torque, just over 11 more than stock, and the hp is about 11 over stock, 94.  You can feel the difference.  Not huge but noticeable.

Now my 13 CVO king is 10 pounds lighter than my road glide according to HD.  The motor had had pistons, cams, heads, TB, and injectors done, Fullsac head pipe, and mufflers.  TTS tuner and a good dyno tune.  121/121 SAE hp and torque, graph is posted in another thread.  Very long flat curve.  Over 110 torque by 2700 RPM and stays over 110 until after 5700 rpm.  I can feel a huge difference over my 12 CVO.

Power band is much wider and longer on the 13, very very noticeable.

Really noticeable when you ride the bikes back to back.  Feels like my 12 is really lacking coming out of a mountain curve.

Its all about weight to hp not t.  Hd 850lbs.divided by 100hp.=8.5   Hd850lbs.divided by 150hp.=5.6   Basic sport bic. , out of the box ,any of them.400lbs. divided by 125hp.=3.2                    LOWER the NUMBER the faster the bic.    Quarter mile run the sport bic. wiil beat you by 1/8 mile everday........ Top speed HD at 150hp.= 140mph.... sport bic 125hp.=160....

Its not about outrunning other Bikes! if racing is what people want to do they would go out and buy Superbikes! Just because a Bikes 850lbs it doesn't mean it cant be fun to ride and you certinly cant blame anyone for trying to get the best out of their motors! wether its looks or performance, the perfect Bike is different in everyones eyes and if someone wants to take their motor to its full potential its as much about the achievement of doing so as it is riding with wide open throttle!!

Why are you calling bikes "bics." :confused5:

I drive a 5,000 lb. car with 425HP.  Can't beat the 3500 lb. sport car with the same HP, and still wouldn't even if I dumped $5K into it to bring it up to 500HP, but it's still badass, IMO.

Enjoy your stock bike (not "bic.") and I'll enjoy my modded one.  If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.

You just beat me to it, Brian.... :huepfenlol2:  Are we talking about lighters or Motorcycles? I guess you could make a Bic into a welding torch, but it wouldn't be very cost effective  ;) ::)

100tHunDer I to have a 5000lbs Cayenne Turbo 450hp and a 911 325hp. Your not trying to change the HP. on your cars are you? Than why on a HD what is the point? 10hp. can make a change?
