The heat on my FLHTCUSE07 seemed to be the worst right after we purchased it. I do feel it from time to time, but not as bad as then. My last ultra, an 08 used to get pretty hot also. Actually got 2nd degree burns during a parade off of that one. It was a long slow parade, one that I will never ride in again. I haven't heard my wife complain about the heat lately either. But as stated, it is a Harley and it will get hot. Tuning, can be a big factor.
