I installed the EMS on a few bikes - with much the same results.  It's ashamed Rev Perf wasn't able to keep the product going...

So since Rev is no longer supporting it, and you now have a dedicated ECM to go with the EMS that you put O2's just to make it run better - where do you go now?

Had to stop and count on fingers for a moment to remember the installs here.  I used it on six or seven bikes.  One was iffy in initial use compared to all the others.  Closer inspection showed an issue with an o2 bung.  Not the systems fault but still enough to keep things from working as well as the others had.  R&R the pipe and a bit of effort with the welder and all was better though.  Wasn't a big deal.

Yeah O2 bungs BTDT. Last year if you recall I cut the bungs down on my D&D Hot Cats. I just pulled them out last week and there is an obvious difference in color compared to prior depth.
Even though the the O2's appear to be in the flow now it did nothing for the way the bike runs.

The old V&H true dual head pipes are at Drago's right now getting bungs installed and ceramic coated.
Cams are out too, trying to decide which way to go there. They do not look all that great for 25K

The bikes are running fine - no need to go anywhere...

If at some point the builds change requiring a substantial retune - I'd likely move back to a Power Commander, since there is a relatively local Power Commander tuning expert in Jamie Long.  Rev Perf is still capable of returning ECM's back to stock.

I'd have no issue moving to a TTS either, if there was a local TTS tuning expert I trusted (which there is not)...

It's not broke so there's no reason to fix it.  Fully accessible both at home and on the road so just no issue.  Should something ever really cause problem it can still be easily returned to stock.  Or there's a spare ECM in the parts drawer that could be used with anything else.  Best case, however, is that it ain't broke (and it works well) so don't have to do anything.

Have you had the opportunity to watch O2 readings live?

Yes.  Did it on the red bike (the 05) a lot when the kit was first installed.  They were brand new to everyone then and there was a novelty factor watching an 05 with an 05 ECM that was never supposed to have o2 sensors report on them so happily.  The readings tracked as expected.  Did a couple of quick watch sessions on the Road King when it first started running also.

Had the opportunity to watch the sensor reports themselves using the Daytona Twin Tec scan tool and one occasion with each bike to compare those reports to a sniffer running concurrently.  Nothing unexpected.

OK, I was wondering if you could see the values change as you throttle, let off etc. I have the Daytona dongle to record, not sure if it allows watching it live though.

That is where Rev P was lacking a bit. When I was not satisfied with the way it ran I downloaded a couple of runs and emailed them to Andrew. All I ever got was "I'll pass this on to tech"

When they lost critical personnel it hurt the program badly.  Whether it proves to be an unrecoverable loss is apparently still an open question.  But it was a big loss; to both the program and the support to its users.
