Do you know Jekill & Hyde in USA?
Sounds very deep and loud, adjustable by motor-driven cover inside.
In combination with the SuperTunerPro I got a explicit improved performance.
I like the look, the breakout CVO is a great bike

Nice exhaust systems. Looks very good on Breakout  I'm even considering the same exhaust system, but do you need to tune ecm? My dealer says there is no need??

loved em on my night rod, had two maps and PCIII with LCD to switch them out. If you run a PCV you can run a toggle switch from it and when it is closed it will revert to stock configuration. So when quiet, run economy, when loud run for power.

You shouldn't have to, they're essentially just a slip on exhaust.

Its better if you tune the ecm, for example with SuperTunerPro or others, because the air consumption is higher. If you contact the company, I am sure, they will give you all informations you want.

Hi, I looked at the Jekill & Hide site, and found the Shorty and the Super shorty, here some questions to you.
which one is installed on the photo of your bike the shorty or super shorty ?
On the site I see a lot of HD models named , but not the CVO Breakout, what model have you used?
Is the set complete with pipes and slip ons or only the slipons ??
If it are only the slipons, do you have to modify the original pipes before installing the slipons ??
As far as I have seen on my Breakout (it is just arrived  at the dealer ) there is acrossover pipe but I am not sure if this one is between the slipons or the pipes itself.

You will almost certainly get quite a bit of popping on decelleration without a tuner though, and without the tuner the pipes can discolor as well.

My friend, you are from the netherlands. The company J&H is also located in netherlands, so I advise you, to make a telephone call to get answers to your questions in your language. Please don't be disappointed, but my command of english is not good enough to answer you detailed. Normaly people from netherlands speaks german too. If you speak german, please write me a mail in german.
I have the super shortys. On the website you have to look for common softails, not Breakout. Mine is the original exhaust from the red "chief"-machine you can see on their website. It was funny, I got the exhaust last year in Faak (Austria) at the European Harley Days for my other CVO, a Springer Softail. Now I put it on my Breakout without problems. Its slipon without any modifications.

Was only saying that it isn't necessary, they're slipons, not hurting the engine. That said, I also said I had a PCIII on mine, I did tune out the popping. Plus mine were all black as it was on a Night Rod Special. It was when they were first developed for that bike.
