  • CVOH! My Scarlett built 3-13-12, & arrived 6-1-12

It was definitely my longest riding day, close to 11 hours in the saddle. We went about 680 miles, and the twisties were so fabulous! It was kind of nuts, too, bikers everywhere for Arizona Bike Week. We didn't go for that reason, no, we went so we could do lunch at the Waffle House. Out HOG chapter director LOVES the Waffle House. Good excuse to start a new "day tripper" ride to really get on the road.

Jerome National Forest, great roads, Prescott National Forest same, and even more fun curves heading towards Bagdad. Arizona is quite pretty, very different than the deserts of Nevada.

We had 10 people in on the fun and nine bikes. I think 6 reds, 2 blue and one olive green. 4 of us were lady riders, it was just great fun. Sorry to say we were too busy riding to take pictures. Oh, and we stopped at the Golden Corral in Kingman before heading home to the barn.

Start time: 6:30am
Return Home time: 10:30pm
Memories: Priceless!

I had to do a major wipe down of Scarlett, she had soooooo many bugs!

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.
