Canbus and XENON/Daymaker lights
« on: April 15, 2013, 05:15:59 AM »

Hello, got my CVO Breakout last week and installed a XENON bulb in the headlight, however the canbus of the bike is not detecting this bulb and gives an alarm, if I switch over to High Beam (also XENON) the sytem automatically switches back to low beam while also the High Beam is being identified as "broken". My HD stealer tells me you can do nothing to solve this and advises me to Buy a Daymaker Headlamp. But before I want to do this I want to know if the Daymaker has no problems with the canbus while the LED lamps also are using less power as the normal Halogen bulbs. Has anyone some information for me ??

What do you mean with " modulator" ? :confused5:  I have installed the xenon bulbs with the standard Xenon transformer/ load resistor delivered with the lamp.
