Upcoming trip - need suggestions

Myself and 4-5 other riders are beginning to plan our annual summer ride and I'm looking for some help here. Will be leaving western Arkansas (Fort Smith area) and likely ride to Branson Missouri. From there, looking for route and sight seeing suggestions across southeastern Missouri, into Kentucky, down through Tennessee with end designation being The Tail of the Dragon. I'm familiar with the beginning and ending parts of the ride but no clue as to what route to take between. We may just opt for the "ride til you stop" philosophy but hoping a few here know some good roads through there.

Best thing to do is go to www.madmaps.com and buy yourself a couple of maps.  All the best roads are color coded, tie them together to plan a trip.  I have been doing that for 6 years now and we have never been disappointed with the routes!

Thanks for the tip Rio. I'm not much on the GPS thing for rides but I do like the printed maps they have.
