I ride a 2012 CVO Street glide now has 15K 1st year .  2nd time this has happened, here are symptom's.
while riding Radio off first then bike shuts down, gauges go 0. all in about 3-5 seconds. then in part do to momentum bike restarts.
when I get to stop and shut down, then go to restart you can hear static vibrato in speakers until I turn stereo off then rengage starter.
Error Code b1006 comes up.( Accessory overload) Harley has replaced 2 Voltage regulators.  I have added many lights. accent LED, Daymaker headlights and drivers, plus led turn signals and led luggage rack brake light. Harley says that should not cause it. My other thought is a faulty Amplifier shorting out do to stereo noise. Any Ideas guys?

You may need a load equalizer...but it sounds a bit more serious than that.

Id chase down battery leads and grounding. Everytime i check they seem to come loose. Ck the ecm plugged in properly,ck master fuse.

Since you've added "many lights," what did you add last and did the problem start shortly thereafter?  If so, that's where I'd look first.  Trace back in time from there.  Good luck!

B1006 and B1007 are not overloads, they are overvoltage.  If the system sees a voltage of 16+ volts for 5 seconds, the ECM sets those codes.  B1006 is for Accessory Line Overvoltage (Instruments), and B1007 is for Ignition Line Overvoltage.  A competent tech should be able to follow the Harley diagnostic routine for those codes.  An incompetent tech will often just replace the first part related to voltage he thinks of, usually the regulator.  I don't have the late model Electrical Diagnostic Manual so I can't provide the diagnostic routine for you; perhaps one of the guys with a recent Touring EDM can scan and post the appropriate page or pages.

Make sure all your connections are good (measure voltage drop or resistance with a meter, don't just do a visual inspection), especially the battery connections and chassis grounds.

OK I checked into this today. This is what I did find out. There is a voltage regulator recall. I'm not sure your model or a new regulator is involved. The stator makes way more voltage then our bikes need, that is why we have a regulator on the bike. if it is overvoltage it is a regulator or a ground or BOTH!!!!! Good luck!

Bulletin for the voltage regulator "recall" attached.  The OP indicated the dealer has already replaced the VR twice.  Tends to indicate the part changer method isn't working and someone needs to use a professional diagnostic approach now.

But the VR's that were replaced might have been part of the problem bunch. I was told a lot that were sent to the dealers as replacement parts were part of a bad VR's. I agree he needs a pro and not just a parts changer!!!
