Fatality
« on: April 26, 2013, 04:49:30 PM »

Good friend lost his life last night. Just purchased the FLHTCUSE8 a couple of weeks ago. Initial reports are that a pick up crossed the center line and hit him square in the grill. Also hearing that a cell phone may involved with the driver of the cage. So senseless. Be safe out there...they're all out to get us!

So many people take driving for granted. Its a time to do other things. Are they going to charge the driver with anything? Should be 2nd degree murder if a cell phone was involved!!! Senseless shame. Really feel for the riders family.

Un Freakin' Real. Sorry for the loss of your friend. My 1st ride this year with my wife on the back and we almost got pegged as well. White suv crossed the median and I was able to gun it and swerve right just in time.

Senseless tragedy. It's about time legislation got enforced that when you are driving your one and only priority is driving and paying attention to everything around you. Too many cages are like a comfy cozy home now and people don't pay attention

Very Sad, wishing the best for the family.  However in perspective, I just became aware of a 45 yr old women who ate right, exercised regularly, was very careful..PS she died unexpectedly in her sleep? Go figure? Then my friends son 35 years old, slipped and fell while taking photos on a boat dock.  He slipped and fell, result: massive brain damage..

What more can I say?  So sorry .....Bad things happen...But good things happen too...

After more than 30 years in the Fire Service. These accidents are more too common. I agree if a cell phone was involved it should be a 2nd degree charge. Unfortunatly it will only carry a Manslaughter charge at best. I am so sorry for you loss of your friend. Prayers to EVERYONE involved.

Be Safe
