Oil temp gauge question
« on: April 28, 2013, 08:59:34 AM »

Does any aftermarket vendor make an oil temp gauge with the brushed aluminum face for the CVO Ultra Glide?
I checked Harley online, Parts catalog, and Dealer partsman and came up with bupkiss. I have searched forums and come up with old data, no one does that I can find. Google comes up empty. Just sitesthat have talked about similar questions. If a gauge is not made is there some company that can make a special order for one. Just wondering since I would love an oil temp gauge on my ultra dash.

Harley has a spun aluminum gauge avail again. I just picked one up for my 04 cvo elide. Had a jp cycles generic gauge before, but it drove me crazy because it didn't match  Rodger Mckewan used to make matching gauges, but I think they are out of the business

Hey RW,
I had the same question. Any chance that you (or anyone else reading) might have the Part Number for the spun aluminium finish Oil Temp gauge?
Thanks,

Part number 75320-05A currently shows as obsolete on the few sites I've checked, but I wouldn't be surprised to find some of these things sitting in various dealerships inventory.  The trick will be in finding them.  Try ebay.

Thanks for the info. That is the part number and I called to see if HD still manufactures the part or had any gauges in stock in the U.S. and no dealer has one. If someone has one for sale or knows where I can get a gauge I would be very thankful. None show up on ebay or Craigslist. Any help would further be appreciated.

I got mine on eBay about 2 weeks ago Brand new in box. I had been watching for one for quite some time.  I assumed Harley had started to supply them again. I guess I just lucked out

RoadRunner posted that these guys had them;
http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com/Oil-Temperature-Gauge-Fairing-Mount-2.htm
I checked their site and then call them and placed an order, it arrived within the week but it had a silver face, their website advertised Black face, White face, and Spun A so I thought I had ordered the right one. It arrived on a Friday and when I saw it was silver I looked at the box and according to the box, the one I wanted is called "Titanium" now. I called them on Saturday and Internet sales was closed on the weekends so I just spoke to the parts department and they said they could order it. I told him how everyone said they were obsolete and he said they show in their parts book as available so I had him order me one. He said it would take 3 to 7 days to come in. He called back about 5 days later and said he had it in hand and he looked at it and it is the one I want and will ship it out. I returned the other one on Saturday am hoping to get the correct one today. Just standing by to make sure my credit card is refunded for the one I returned and waiting for the correct one. I will let you know. If that is the case then a person should be able to order one from any HD Shop.
