2013 CVO Ultra Colors

So I'm curious... just wondering if anyone else has noticed a similarity between the new 2013 CVO Ultra Classics and the much older and yet still highly desirable 2004 SEEG's specifically the Pumpkin and Cherry Bikes..?

I've been wanting to upgrade my ride to the ultimate touring machine and I finally pulled the trigger last week and traded up to the Typhoon Maroon with  no regrets...   Once I saw the paint I was hooked.

Simply couldn't get the image of the cherry bike out of my mind though...  One of my all time favorites and I love seeing the similarities between the bikes.

I truly believe HD has reincarnated the two bikes as the 2013 Ultras comes in both the red and orange versions with almost identical tank paint design and color. Even the Front Fairing bare the strong resemblance with the black wings...

Looking forward to getting a good photo of my bike next to a friends cherry just to see the differences side by side.

I think I shall call my new girl... "Bing" as she looks just like a Black Cherry..!

What an amazing bike. I couldn't be happier!   :cherry:

Congratulations on the new bike. I was having a hard time deciding between the Typhoon Maroon and the Anniversary, had the dealer bring both of them outside to see them in the sunlight. The colors on the Typhoon Maroon really pop in the sun, I'm just not a flame guy so in the end the Anniversary came home with me. It's not as flashy as the Typhoon Maroon but then neither am I. Ultimately I would like to have some of both bikes features but I am very pleased with my choice. Ride safe.

I'm have the same quandry. My dealer will have the anniversary and tribal brought in - I can't decide which one until I see them in person. Leaning towards the tribal but may get the anniversary for the same reason you stated.

Have the same bike was not in the market for a new bike until I saw one of these. Expect a lot of complements.

Sorta the same story.  I've always wanted the Ultra for all the extra creature comforts but hadn't really thought the time was right. Once I saw  the typhoon, I was hooked and the time was right.!

Same reason I got the Typhoon Maroon. I have 900 miles on her and I have been complimented on it by strangers at least 6 times while stopped at a light or for gas, etc

What happened to the 09 SERG? I saw it was " Gone but not forgotten", traded or sold outright? Looking for a 09 in that color...

Good looking new ride, didn't like the color combo at first, but its growing on me, Good choice...

Here's mine with KTP removed (deutsche connectors, all under the seat), Hog Pro Wheels, Ricor Suspension front and back, D&D straight cut pipe, SERT, SE Intake, Mustang Solo Seat, Hawg Wired Amp & Speakers, Wild One 578's, Truck Lite lights (all 3 fronts), quick release lowers, and a dozen or so other "touches".

Wow.! Very Sharp.!  I was wondering what she'd look like without the TP.  Great job.!

Wound up trading it in. It wasn't the easiest decision I've ever made... However, I really am more of a fan of the Batwing vs the Shark. Once I saw the Typhoon I was smitten...

I still find myself grin'n every time I go for a ride on this new scoot.

Thanks EagleGlider! I loved my 08' customized FLTR (put 45k miles on her, see below) and spent about the same money as the new Typhoon Cuse8, after mods, but change is good too - "love the one you're with". Cheers, CultusRider
