Rear Shock options?
« on: May 01, 2013, 08:03:24 AM »

I saw one member on this board changed his back sock to a progressive 422 and lowered it by 1". I do like this mode, but being very new to the HD world, I would need your help on the various possibilities to execute this mode?

I would like to lower the bike and keep it comfortable and nice to drive, what are my options? And what is a reliable brand to chose from? Not to forget which one will fit the CVO? Do Olhins make something for the CVO (I find them to be a very reputable brand for shocks

Thanks for your help

So the only suitable one is the progressive?

How good is progressive? are those shocks of good quality? Can anyone recommend any other brands?

Another option I am looking at is Legend Air L3 in Chrome, are the any good?

Seems like it's the best of both worlds but at quite a cost. I have pneumatic/air suspension on two trucks and really find it great, not sure the same applies to bikes.

the reviews seem good, or shall I say all very positive.

I might go that route, the L3 do look nice and the idea of being able to change the height could be very handy
