She said her bike was running hot.

If I'd been between her legs for very long, I'd be running hot, too....

The survey was a joint project with a research team from Oregon State University.

As I spend a great deal of time at our local University, I would have to surmise that it is possible that the 'team' is part of a project to determine the BEST way to advertise to our ELITE group of bikers and perhaps the most effective marketing startegy.

I got that impression, so I said that "Sturgis was not my cup of Tea" meaning BTDT and they might want to look at other rallies or venues to get more of the CVO crowd to attend. Like they could come to Maggie Valley

Since WE the CVO Owner's seem to have the answers the MOCO is looking for >>>>and they plan on

using OUR infornation to increase THEIR bottom line....I believe we have something of value

here>>>>>SO let's have some marketing ideas on how we should be fairly compensated.

1. Having an all female marketing team rally ....That way they can get feeling of having a "Screamin  Eagle" between  their legs. and learn the finer points of maintenance and proper care of both the scooter and it's owner.

I was there in Rapid City, they have my email address......but I haven't received the questinaire.  Should I feel left out? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Does it allow or provide a place for comment?  If so, are you guys inviting them to MV for them to get the real inside opinions from CVO owners? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Kinda lets me know how much they really care. :-/

But..........  Whether they do or not has no effect on the fact that we really shouldn't.  After all, if we've learned anything out of the shared experiences here (detailing issues from everything like HD's active hiding of customer service contacts, to bad paint, to warranty fights, and a litany of others) it's that we do what we do, and feel how we feel about our bikes, almost in spite of the MoCo rather than because of it.

Brian, I had opportunity to talk to several of them, one on one.  I mentioned MV to each of them and invited them for you and at least two of them said that they'd "heard about it"........I assumed from other members of this site that were there.

They know where to find the larger groups of CVO Owners, if they want to.  I'm not sure why they're not taking advantage of that (or are they and we just don't know?).  MV and Reno (Street Vibrations) last year and this year, both had more CVO Owners than where present in Rapid City.  They have opportunity, if they'll just take advantage of it.
