Sorry to hear about your bike. It sucks. My son had his car stolen from our driveway last Wednesday night.

So sad,...sorry to hear that. I've had a bike stolen before and the feeling is sickening.

With that color, 1 of 1900 plus (I forget the total # produced), the thieves probably will have to sell the whole bike overseas, or repaint and resell overseas. It might be hard to sell the parts on line as too many parts of that color being sold from one location will bring attention. Anyone looking to buy a genuine CVO will know to check the frame number which should be entered in the LEO database by now. They can always try and pawn the parts off at swap meets, but that too is risky.

They will probably chop it down and sell it for parts. Not too sure what they can do with the frame and painted parts though.

God that makes me sick.

If anyone comes across a "good deal" on a 2005 Cherry FLHTCSE2 near Savannah GA, better check the VIN. Mine was stolen Saturday night.

I'm down here in Jax, FL and will keep a look out. Are there any identifying things that we should know if we run into a same color/model bike?

I know how you feel. I had a '69 full dressed Electra glide stolen from me in '73. I'm still looking for it...

Didn't the 2005 model have a security system?  My 2007 can't be lifted off the kickstand without the alarm sounding and the ignition is deactivated without a fob present.  Sorry to hear about your loss and I know even with insurance you won't get what the bike is worth to you.
