If anyone comes across a "good deal" on a 2005 Cherry FLHTCSE2 near Savannah GA, better check the VIN. Mine was stolen Saturday night.

My sincere condolences. I know how angry and impotent having a vehicle stolen makes you feel Wish I could give you some hope but the truth is there isn't any. We've had members bikes stolen before and I don't recall ever seeing it posted that they were recovered. My guess would be that the bike will be stripped and either parted out or used to create a false CVO on a stock 2005 Electra-Glide which will then be sold with the stock model's VIN and title. You might keep an eye on E-Bay for the painted parts being offered for sale but I've no idea how you would prove that they came from this motorcycle. I doubt seriously that it will turn up for sale whole and untouched. Again, sorry for your loss

I am so sorry to hear that your bike was stolen.  I hope that it was insured.  I have had my home broke into a few years back and I just felt so violated.  I wish that some of the items had a GPS tracker where I could just find the person or persons responsable for it.   I hope the police are able to find it for you before any damage is done to it.

Very sorry to hear that your bike was stolen.  Was curious as to whether or not you could provide insight into the loss.  In other words, what time of day was the bike stolen, where was it parked, forks locked, etc.  was this a snatch and grab where they rolled and/or lifted the bike into the back of a truck?  I don't generally worry about theft but perhaps I should.  Your insight may help other members to avoid a similar circumstance.

Man - that really SUCKS.

I hope they find the rat bastards who stole it, and are able to recover it. Not likely, though. My 1987 IROC-Z Camaro was stolen from right out in front of a movie theater in Sacramento in 1989. The Sheriff's office called two days later, saying they had found what was left of it. It had been picked clean... All that was left was the frame and body.

I hope yours is recovered intact.

Reading this makes me think about getting the Lo Jack system installed.

Those ribs don't look burnt to me -- looks like a tasty dry rub on the exterior, blackened just so, and tender juicy ribs inside. Hmmmmmmm
