Small storage options....what have you done?
« on: May 07, 2013, 12:25:15 PM »

I'm looking for options for small storage on my Breakout.  I had a handle bar bag on my Deluxe.....it was okay.  I've seen swing arm bags, but I've heard the wear away the clear on the powder coating of the swing arm.  I guess I'm looking for ideas to "borrow" from those that have done something.

Wrap a sticky clear tape on the swing arm area where the bag is to be attached

I'm going to do the clear tape/contact paper trick along with with a swing-arm bag that matches the Breakout's seat. Got mine from The Leatherworks [312LLK-Left side swing arm bag with pad lock function in Black Gator].

There are swingarm brackets that bolt to the belt guard. You can make one or buy one. Then you bolt the bag to that.

I use a small sissy bar bag that slides on over the sissy bar and sits on the pillion.  Works great as it is totally removable.
