They didn't trust Chip with a knife  :'(. He only got to use a spoon.  ;D

They showed me their best side for the photo!

Everyone waiting for the ribs.  ;)

Time to eat.

Left this morning for home with many fond memories of my first Ribfest.  :2vrolijk_21:  Got to see "old" friends and met new one's.  I am so happy that I went to my first Ribfest and look forward to next year!

Stopped on the way home to avoid the rain rolling in from the North.  The nice gentleman working at the desk offered to let us park our MC's under the overhang for the night.

We were topping off the tanks.  Renay put 1 gal in her's and then proceeded to put 1 gal in mine when I noticed she had the diesel.  We had to pump out both tanks.  :'(

Well at least doing it to the bikes is no where near as critical as putting some gas in one of the new diesel Ford's

Got home at 2 PM today. We rode in 42 degree temps and a 30 mph wind.  :'(. Stayed warm in our heated gear but the wind wore us out.  :-\. Had to drive home with the MC's listing 30 degrees to compensate for the wind. It was a long 150 miles in these conditions!

Glad you and Renay made it home safe.  That wind sounds brutal.  Had that from OK to AZ one trip a few years ago.  Wind from the South keeping me sideways all the way.  Ain't no fun.

Those covers look good and save the night dew from getting on the bike, I have one for my Ultra and it fits like a glove, however I am looking for a similar type for my SG.
I have not come across one yet, maybe there is something that will suit the SG as well but I have not seen one yet.

As you can see from the picture, my SG is in the front and the Ultra is in the rear.  We have the same cover and it fits both really nice.  The cover is waterproof and only covers the top half of the MC but it has these stretchy bands that you pull down and wrap around various parts on your MC keeping the wind from blowing the cover off.  It folds up really small and goes back in its self-contained bag.  I highly recommend it.
