My bike is in the shop waiting for a front fairing. I layed it down, guy cut short went to go around tow truck on one side lady on the shoulder. I walked away with two scratches on my leg and a bruised hip. Bike went in the shop March 26th and still waiting for front fairing. How often should I call or stop by the shop to get updates?

I would just be happy that they are trying to get you one as I'm not sure they are still available thru normal channels with the '04 paint.  Which color is yours, B/B or O/B?  spyder

 B/b the dealer said they are just waiting for the fairing. Harley still paints them that's what they said.

That's good to hear, there has always been a long wait for those painted skins....usually months instead of weeks.  spyder

That sucks on wait time it's almost 45 days.  I want to go to bike week. Hope it comes soon.

When they paint the CVO colors it is done in batches.
If you are lucky, your batch is next in line. If not ...............

When I ordered a tourpak lid it took 12 weeks+
When I ordered a tourpak is was 1 week

Interesting point, my complete tourpak was less then just the lid

I thought they made the part and they sent the cvo parts out to a painter. I hope it comes back soon the weather is nice.

Hi me, just curious what it costs for the new fairing ?  I always wondered ... Then I wouldn't  be as anal about the normal wear and tear from riding.

Front fenders cost as much or more than a fairing.  Guess they're harder to make out of metal. The paint is better on the metal for sure.    spyder

Bought a new Front Fairing bout a month ago. 09 Blue & Silver. $610 to my door, had to provide a CVO Vin in my name.

Saw a cvo front fairing on eBay almost bought it. There's allot of them on eBay.
