I have the same bike as you and my right blew at ~300 miles and had it replaced, now at ~700 miles the left is blown and the lens is all cloudy. I'm about head over the the dealer to get it fixed, after which I may be switching to bulbs from another Manufacturer.

No idea what is causing this issue for sure.....probably just cheap crap bulbs from the MOCO.

Sounds like a loose connection. This will result in high heat in that area. If all the Stealer does is replace bulb & lens, its NOT fixed!!!

While a batch of bad bulbs in production is always a possibility, it's much less likely that a replacement from dealer inventory would also be defective.  As 2ksoftail said, don't assume it's a bad bulb when the problem repeats like that; the odds are there is another electrical issue either in the bulb socket or wiring.  You may have to 'splain that to the dealership folks, since most tend to just take the easy approach rather than scratch the noggin and then do some diagnostics.

Left side only and the dealer replaced one already at 50 miles. Fortunately the dealer thinks that there is something more going on...only 425 miles

The dealer cleaned the lens and replaced the bulb and I was on my way so we'll how things fo from here. They mentioned they've seen a rash of new touring bikes coming back in this year with blown bulbs CVO or otherwise. There is no pattern yet for me since I've independently lost both sides now.

I'll keep an eye an this thread to see how things go for others in case there is something confirmed that I should tip them off on if I experience a reoccurence. At some point I'll be going to the LED's but if their is a issue other then the bulb itself I'd prefer to get it diagnosed and resolved first.

I suspect it's your choice of tuners or lack there of.
Probably easiest to just remove all the bulbs.
Just sayin, , , , ,

This keeps up and I certainly will be drinking a different flavor Kool Aid and liking it with a big ol slice of Humble Pie ala Mode.  :huepfenlol2: :drink:
