Interesting read for sure. I had a 09 O/B SERG. Loved the ride and how it cut thru the wind effortlessly. Fairing was a little far but that's ok. I got the itch in 12 and saw the Ruby Red SESG. Loved the color and look. So took the plunge. 3k miles later, I still love it. I find I can carve the curves easier on it. Feels smaller. I realize that it is me that has the problem. There is some more wind but not a huge deal, but its there. When the new SERGs come back out...well who knows. Until then ride safe and ride often.

That '12 SESG in the red is drop dead gorgeous ! ..... and I don't think you have a problem at all. I have talked with a lot of people, and have
ridden one of my best buddie's SG quite a few times and like it. Its just one of those subjective things, that has a lot of little variables that
influence our decisions. We ride what we fee comfortable on; some may sit taller on a bike, or have longer arms ..... or even our riding habits may be a little different and how we interact with the bike. Little things become big things in regard to what we all feel comfortable with, and you go with what feels right to you. In the end, we are all on the same side ..... and own those air-cooled V-twins for the same reason.
