Flag Mount for CVO StreetGlide 2012
« on: May 20, 2013, 08:17:56 PM »

Hello All,
I've been searching for a Flag mount that I can use with backrest and seat removed.   In other words just my solo seat.  The only thing I have found is the Rivco license plate mount, but it looks to me the flags would block the tail lights somewhat.   Here's the link
http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/product.php?productid=799&cat=433&page=1

Anyone have any suggestions that they can share to save me some time searching?  Picture would be great!  I'd like to set this up before the Memorial Day weekend.

Thanks in advance
Rich

I have been using propad's flags and mounts for many years. I have never had a problem with any of their products.
No I m not affiliated with them.

Just my .02 is they Both seem very nice. But the fist one from Rivco would be my choice is would put two flags further apart.  And would be cheaper I believe after mounting two flags.

Just as a thought. If you we're going to be on a slow parade, extensions could be made that could be place in a saddle bag to hold more flags.  To go up higher,  first thing that popped in my head was the armed forces flags and pow Mia

It may stick up high but as long as you don't go fast it shouldn't hut any thing.   I would need to see how well it was made and what size the pole would be.  Things might need to be fabricated but might be a cool look for a parade.

I've never had a problem mounting the tour-pak flags on the back edges of my saddlebags. The lids close with zero issues.
