CVO RK 2013 seat options
« on: May 22, 2013, 05:44:52 PM »

Got my new bike last week in the UK and plan a trip to the Arctic Circle Norway in July but my wife finds the seat and backrest (too short) uncomfortable.

Googled seats and Mustang show one peace seats. Do one piece fit as current seat is two peace? Is there a seat that does not move the rider back from the bars?

Will Corbin fit CVO RK and what's the view of Corbin? Find they are very heavy seats but generally comfortable.

Any recommendation appreciated as UK dealers seem to lack knowledge on CVO.

I purchased the classic solo with pillion and am very happy with it. It also looks very good without the pillion. Much more comforatable than stock. Kind of pricey though believe I paid a little over $1,000 once I added the pillion and drivers backrest.

I run a corbin classic solo on my 12 CVO road glide, so it will fit the CVO King as they are basically the same.  With the passenger pillion it would make a nice seat for two.

I run the stock seat on my 13 CVO king, had it modified with gel added and a drivers back rest.  My wife does not like that stock passenger pillion either, but she only is on back once or twice a year for 50 miles or less, as she rides her own.

I have a HD tallboy which is very comfortable compared to stock.  Sits me back about an inch and down an inch or 2.

However- I cant help myself...bought this mustang seat that was redone by Roland Sands.  Will put it on when Im home!  First impression is good quality and seems to be very comfortable.

I purchased a Harley SunRay heated seat in great condition off of EBay. Then a taller sissy bar with comfort stitch pad. I can't reach the ground as well but I am gonna have the foam shaved. I am same distance from bars. Gonna eventually add removable tour pack.

I put the Mustang Day Tripper one piece on a couple nights ago.  It fits like a glove, just had to remove a couple of the rubber bumpers on the bottom, as they are not needed and in the way of the RK' rubber fender rails.  This was done on my 13 SERK
