I own cherry and black ice SE ultra, beautiful paint for a factory painted bike. Exhaust leaves much to be desired in my opinion. Needs cam, exhaust and SERT to come alive. I am waiting for cam (back order) and will have Bassani exhaust and SERT complete tomorrow, that should help some. No complaints so far other than storage cover dosen't seem to fit very well. Can't wait to hear of other mod's available when aftermarket companies catch up to it.
Did you have problems with the '06?

Did you take a hit or was it "one to one"...

I only ask because you could have updated your current bike to a Baker 6-Speed Direct drive transmission - and we already know the '06 bikes have more power due to less restrictions on emissions - let alone the future smog checks you may incurr being a "07"...

Now if you like your new paint job better than the last - that is another story! :)

For me - now that I have my Baker 6-Speed Direct drive, XM - Nav - Bluetooth - Vance and Hines with PCIII about to be "Dynoed" - I have never been happier.

I only say this - drove a stock '07 today Ultra and perhaps I had a lemon - but compaired to my last "3" Screamin' Eagle bikes - it was ucky...

OK - sorry - Congrats and hope you are happy as it is YOUR bike :)

jfscheck - I have the vance and hines with PCIII dynoed, great sound and perfomance.  Question, have you experienced any start-up problems since you  installed the PCIII.  For example, taking longer to start (more cranks)?

I have the same issue with it cranking longer before starting.  Keep us posted as to what you find.

How much clearance do you have from your Baker 6 speed and your V&H pipes (is this a pro pipe?).

Same on mine after adding the PC...used to take one or two revolutions to hit, now takes three or four...but once it starts, it runs fine.  It's not HARD to start, just turns over a couple of more times.  It turns over more, even when warmed up completely.  Not reallly a problem for me, just different, and if I've got to trade that for better overall running, I'll let it turn a couple of more times.

Did you get your Basani's and SERT??? I am going with the Basani's as well when my 07 comes in. If so, what muffs did you go with and what is your impression of it all so far?

What cam are you going with ? Just curious because I am getting my Rineharts installed in November and may also look into having the cam swapped out. Thanks

A Thundermax will fix that.  Issue is in the IAC mapping.  Not enough fuel.  Probably letting in more air and the IAC stops have not been adjusted.
