Some of you may have read the posts from TIFF2 in March on the Hybrid Audio Technologies 5x7 's(i57's)----------Does anyone know yet it they can be installed in the RG fairing ??
I was thinking of putting them in the fairing , and SB lids and some 6.5's in the lowers with a Rockford 300 4 channel amp. That would surely sound great.
Im guessing you would have to have the proper adapters of course but since they are a little bigger(depth) than the stockers and Hawg Wired also I don't know if they would hit the outer fairing.

Anyone??

I have HAT 5x7 speakers in my RG fairing. No problem. The screw holes dont quit match up. You can use 2 screw holes then clamp the other end with some tabs to hold it in place. Works fine, sounds good.

I installed the 4 channel ARC audio amp under the fairing. Added lid speakers. I went with Polk 5x7's in the lids. Got tired of waiting for the HAT 5x7's for the lids. Very happy with the sound. I can listen to the tunes at 80 mph with a full face helmet. Before I could only listen to it at a stop with the motor off. Don't have any pics of the install. But I did it all myself and it works fine.

What did you do about the HD tweeters in the gauge holes in the fairing-----------------hooked up or not??

Yes they are still hooked to the stock amp.
