Quote the raven, nvrrmorr.

Welcome to the site from East Tennessee.  There's a section on the forum just for the big "D" but upon searching, nothing on lowering or much on suspension at all.  May want to search in the following section:
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?board=34.0
Otherwise, check on lowering shocks for the softail line.  HD makes a nice set (added them to my '94 FXSTC years ago) but I'm sure Progressive or another aftermarket company makes much better options for you.

Post a couple pics of the Deuce when you get a chance....great looking CVO.

Enjoy the site, that FXSTDSE and keep it between the ditches... :bananarock:

Welcome aboard from Minnesota! Glad you've joined the fun. My wife rides a blue/black SE Deuce like that. Are you trying to lower for feet on the ground reasons or for looks? Got my wife's feet on the ground and got her pushed forward a few inches by going with the Corbin Close Gunfighter.

You can see the results of that and a few other mods here:

Welcome from Ohio

I also think it looks good from the picture also.  You don't want to mess up the handling with lowering it.  I would search around and see if there are any posts with people that have lowered theirs.   You may not think a inch would make a difference but it does on some bikes.  I can't speak for yours.  So I would at least do some checking before making a change that you want to reverse later on.    Just my opinion.

I like the color also by the way.

Todd.
