That should wake it up big time! You can always do the heads later. Be sure they put Torrington full-complement cam bearings in. The stock INA bearings are crap, especially with aftermarket cams. One of mine FELL APART when we removed it to install different cams with all of 300 miles on it.  >:(

You're going to LOVE the Dragula... Sounds SICK! Your tuner will see strange dips in the VE tables with the 2-1 pipe... I call them the "lakes" because those VE cells are blue in the TTS software that I use. That's to be expected... 2-1 pipes breathe differently than the stock 2-1-2 system, Fullsacs, etc.

Good luck with the mods. ORANGE bikes are already the FASTEST anyway!

I already love the Dragula and can't wait to hear it after with the cams and higher comp. Dropped it off today and will have it back Thursday!  I hope to be around 110HP and 115TQ.

You will love the Dragos pipe and higher compression. It has a cool growl from 1800-2400 rpm. After that it sounds mean as hell.
I haven't heard your cams on anything that I know of. I just read the specs a couple of days ago and I think besides the higher lift than my 777s you'll have a longer duration. It should lope a bit and sound healthy!
I had a valve job and the heads cleaned up just a little when I did the work on my engine.
Are you doing the wrench cranking or having a shop do it?

I do all the wrenching on my bike accept when it comes to the motor. Canton cycles in Canton Ohio is doing this work for me.

I assume your having adjustable push rods installed too.
There's nothing better than knowing the guy cranking the wrenches on your bike. Keeps the scary thoughts away when we're going down the highway.
You'll have a lot of fun riding this when it's done. Besides looking good it'll scream when you open it up.
I went with the middle exhaust insert from Dragos. I'd never have enough motor to warrant going for the largest bore Frank offers. (I say that now)
It's loud enough and performs enough for what I have going.

Adjustable push rods and bigger springs.
They have a very good reputation and i have been working with them for about two months and with TR and Frank to come up with the build.
I'm running the 2.55 baffles as well and before the motor work they sound awesome. The quality is second to none. Very happy with my Dragula!Work should be done tomorrow Cant wait for the ride home!

Russ has a pretty damn good rep for building and fixing bikes. I've had a few chats with him when I had my old bike.

It's almost done! Went to the shop yesterday to check out the progress and when I walked in they were firing it up for the first time. Sounds pretty good but sure needs some tuning. Going to do a series of start up cycles and cool downs today and then on the tuner. Bringing it home this afternoon.... Going to be nice tomorrow so I plan to put 500 or so miles on her. Hope to have it back in next weekend for a full dyno tune.

JC at Rolling Art Custom Paint is sending out my new Klock werks fender Today or Monday cant wait to get it on the bike. In the next few weeks i should have my one off Danny Gray seat. Sherry at DG sure is a great person to work with and Thom has helped design an awesome seat. A few more things to do and she will be just like i want her for now. May put Progressive monotubes in before sturgis and 944 shocks. What the heck its only money.

Got the bike back last night and what a difference! They had it on the dyno just to set the AFR and without running it hard they got 104HP and 115TQ. I have a 500 mile ride planed today and it goes back next Saturday for a full tune. I will post Dyno chart when done.

Sounds like a great day. I'd invite myself to tag along but have too many plans today.
