How many quarts of oil with filter change 2011 CVO ?

About 3.75 gets you close, check from there.

As Jim said, 3.5-3.75 quarts, then ride it, let it get hot, and check again.  I don't worry about 1/4 a quart.  My '06 like running at 3.5, otherwise it blew some out the intake and dripped on the cam chest cover.  Not bad, but just a bit.  The new motors don't seem to do this like the 103's back then.  IMO, better to slightly under fill.

Why not keep the owners manual in the pouch made for it in your tourpak??  I had the exact same bike as yours, and always did 4qts motor, 1 qt primary and 1qt trans. Mobil 1 20-50 engine primary. Mobil 1 75-90 gear oil in trans, every 5k all three holes and never had any issues with overflow.

Just traded it on a 2013 CVO RG Custom Atomic Orange/Mistic Gray and intend to do the same thing.

The new primaries hold more than 1 quart, even if you just drain them from the drain plug.  If you remove the primary cover, it holds even more.  I can't remember for certain, but I think it's 38 oz when you simply drain it and 42 oz when you pull the whole cover off for whatever reason.

Personally.  I start with 3 drive and add as needed.  Just my .02
