Because of health reasons, I may have to sell my stock Sliver Mist CVO w/ less than 1000 miles, any idea what it will be worth in the Chattanooga marketplace? Unit is all stock, actual mileage is less than 500 currently but still attempting to ride and will sell after 1000 mile service. Thanks for any information you can offer, the bike is wonderful, my health problems just don't make riding a safe bet for me in the near future.

Sorry to hear about your health problem and wish you well!  Hopefully your back will improve with therapy and time.  Sorry I'm no help on the selling part but some lucky person will get a practically new bike without taking the intial hit on depreciation.

From the practices that appear to be quite common at a lot of the HD Dealers (selling the CVO's at inflated- above MSRP prices); it's very likely that you should be able to get full retail (MSRP) for your bike. People will not only save on not having to pay greedy dealer prices, but also on not having to pay for freight; PDI or the first inspection. I would ask retail and see what kind of responses you get.

Sorry for  your health issues. I hope you get close to MSRP. I sold a 3k mile 2011.5 CVO Ultra after 18 months and had to take a $5k loss but it made room for the Tribal Orange model. I sold it towards the end of the riding season here in Indiana. Your season should be longer though.

I empathize with having to sell your bike due to health reasons.  I can totally relate...had to sell my bike due to back problems that just got worse and worse.

I don't know about the Chatanooga area but out here you'd be hard pressed to get MSRP.  New, we paid less than MSRP and I know that many of the owners on this forum paid less than MSRP.  Maybe start there and then drop it every few weeks until it's gone.

You might keep an eye on ebay just as a general guide.

Several years ago my dealer would put our bikes on the floor on consignment, and give us 100% of the sale.
Maybe talk to your dealer, explain your circumstances, perhaps they would do the same.

So on a FLHTCUSE8 Tribal Orange with 900 miles on it I was offered $ 33,000.00 Dollars from my Dealer on a trade in for a 2013 CVO Road Glide.. I would be taking a big LOSS.  Still thinking about it.
