Great ride with a few friends yesterday

Started our day by meeting up with a few friends and riding up to Sandusky, OH where we loaded our MC's on a ferry and went across Lake Erie to Kelly's Island.  This is a beautiful island where around 500 people live full time but during the summer it draws a lot of tourist's.  We chose yesterday to go because the ferry that charges $14 round trip is free on Weds.., unfortunately 300 other MC rider's picked the same day.   :'(

Once we were on the ferry the ride across took about 20 mins.









Rode around the Island and saw the sites













The ride back from the Island was a little more bumpy.  My alarm on my MC and many other MC's were going off on occasion from the ferry boat rocking.



Stopped at the Harley Store on the way home in Sandusky.  They had all kind of activities going on for Bike Week.  Saw some cool MC's.

















Started home after dark and just want to give two thumbs up  :thumbup: :thumbup: for my Trucklite Phase 7 lights.  They are awesome!

awesome pics and a great ride.  Thanks for sharing.  makes me want to leave work early and so the same.  Love your ride, btw.  I have the same.

That looks like a real nice ride.  and that ice cut rock is really cool.   I wonder how long it took to cut that much rock with dirty ice.

Quick question if I may, I don't see any tie downs on the ferry.  Is the water that smooth?

No tie downs!  If the ride gets rough they make you sit on your MC to keep them from tipping! :o :'(
